1. The Story Museum
The Story Museum in their outstanding exhibition of “26 Characters” is a gallery of hostile and evil, wizardry, witches and wild things. They have events for all ages: workshops of the author, family stories, conversations, performances and much more. The Museum of Stories is in the center of Oxford, just behind St. Aldate. It is about 10 minutes away from the train station, and a short walk from Gloucester Green Bus Station and Carfax.

2. Oxford River Cruises
We found that the surrounding local area inspired some of Oxford’s most beloved authors. Louis Carroll, who compiled the “Adventures of Alice in Wonderland” and where S.D. Louis took inspiration for the stories of “The Land of Narnia”. South Park is a park on Headington Hill in east Oxford, England. It is the largest park within Oxford city limits. A good view of the city centre with its historic spires and towers of Oxford University can be obtained at the park’s highest point, a favourite location for photographers.Here you can play table tennis, stroll to Headington Hill Park or if the weather is kind, enjoy a picnic.
