
During Halloween weekend, there was wide range of ghoulish events at East Village; from a special trick or treat trail to pumpkin carving competitions and workshops.

On Saturday 28th October, East Village was hosting a spook-tacular trick or treat trail that was FREE for families and will include tricks along with tasty delights from a number of East Village retailers, including spooky specials from artisan Italian bakery Signorelli.
Registration: To take part, trick or treaters had to register on the day at the Spooktacular Castle on Victory Parade from 1pm*. There was a FREE trick or treat bucket and map, which lead them around a wide-array of East Village retailers to collect their very own terrifying tricks and treats.
Throughout the whole Halloween weekend, retailers at East Village also had a range of ghoulishly delightful treats for all ages to tuck into. For those wanting to put their scary skills to the test, Ted’s Veg was hosting pumpkin carving competitions and workshops for adults and children.
On the Sunday at Victory Parade there was a wide range of tasty treats but also spooky, colourful entertainers wandering amongst the stalls. There were sure some scary surprises to delight all ages, including free frightening face-painting for children.
