Knock, knock…Trick or Treat! The season of Pumpkins, Pies, Decorations, Snacks and Costumes is coming. Let’s get you ready for some homemade Halloween Costumes. Browse through some costume ideas and get your kid ready for this weekend.
Halloween Superhero
Thor, Batman, Spiderman or Captain America, Wonder woman or Supergirl as a costume. Example of how you can do the Thor costume below:
Marvel Avengers Thor Fancy Dress Costume
Clothes: You will need blue or black trousers, black bodysuit and red cloak without a hat.
Accessories: Find gauntlets, belt, a hat and a hammer. All of those accessories can be made from cardboard and aluminum foil. Of course that you will need white wig for the hair, and you will also need boots. If you have boots that look similar to Thor’s boots at home, that would be great. But if you don’t, you can buy them, or remake some old boots to look like his with a cardboard or with painting. See how it looks in the picture below.

Witch costume
Find some old black clothes, a hat (made from cardboard), a broom and a messy hair. No matter the age, anyone can be a witch, even the toddlers.
For this costume you will need:
Clothes: a white shirt, a skirt (gray or black), V-neck vest and tie in Gryffindor colours (scarlet and gold), knee-high socks (gray or black), shoes (Mary Janes) and a robe. For the hair you can go with bushy (younger Hermione) and loose waves(older Hermione). Also you will need books, a time turner, a Hogwarts badge and a wand.
Or you can be Moaning Myrtle, Luna Lovegood or Bellatrix Lestrange…famous witches from Harry Potter series.
