Creative workshops for children at ArtPlay London

ArtPlay London a new art and yoga workshop for children has been opened in Mayfair. This workshop is for children to develop their imagination, without being interrupted by professors. The workshops will take place over the art process in exchange for the final process. The activities will be in several areas that will include garbage modelling, paint squirting, collage, painting with objects, except rugs and other areas also.

Children will be given inspiration through music, themes, conversations and a movement activity- so this workshop it will be yoga. Yoga for children has many benefits providing training in the mind and body to bring emotional balance. Young people need such tools to hear inside their bodies, feelings and ideas. They will also be organised in smaller groups with our lovely yoga teacher in different sections of the room whilst parents and younger children can stay and carry on with art. They will be able to mix the activities as it suits them.

Silva said: “I am going to eventually open my own children’s art studio/coffee shop where there will be regular workshops and classes for children.”

We will also have the owner of Nama Foods – Notting Hill serving vegan treats and snacks along with tea and coffee.
